The Principles of the New Jerusalem Advent Movement Inc

The New Jerusalem Advent Movement Inc (NJAM) is a not-for-profit faith- based concern. Its operations are non-conventional, in that is an open fellowship allowing all persons who are seeking a deeper and personal relationship with Christ to express their freedom of choice to worship within the ambit of the Bible.

The movement is based on the Paradigm of Sola Scriptura that is, it accepts the authority of the Bible as the only guide for its principles in all matters of faith and practice.

Additionally, it supports an open leadership style recognizing that only God is equipped to lead his movement- church. However, NJAM recognized that each worship participant is bless with the gift of stewardship for the sole purpose of serving God and his fellowmen. (Matt 25: 14-30) Hence, under God’s leadership, we are all instruments of God, utilizing the stewardship gifts wherever we are for the benefit of His kingdom. (Matt. 25:31-40)

Therefore, the contribution of each participant is important once they recognized that their role is to uplift, promote the gospel of Jesus Christ (Rom.1:21-21, Matt 28:19-20, Mk. 16: 15-16) and lived by faith in accordance with the express principles outlined in the bible. (Rom. 5:1, Eph. 2:8-9)

New Jerusalem also believes that there is one world wide movement (church )of believers and that this true Movement ( church )of God is spiritual and not denominational or religious or in one geographical region.

Hence it adheres and accepts that God’s true followers are not confined to one specific denomination or religion or region, but that God has his faithful people from all walks of life and persuasion within all faiths.

That God constantly through the Holy Spirit invites people to be part of His worldwide movement- church. Hence, we regard that God’s final people will comprise a worldwide movement (the Church) of those who accepts salvation through Christ alone and whose faith is base from the word of God the bible and the Bible alone (Sola Scriptura) (Act.4:10-12, Matt.11:28-30, Jn.6:35, 7:38, 8:12, 14:6, 17:1-4)

Additionally,That the Followers of God will accept by faith:

The final reward of the saints is the gift of immortality which will given at the second advent of Jesus and the commencement of the thousand years experience ( 1Thess. 4:15-18, 1cor 15:50-55, Rev.20:1-6) whilst the reward of the wicked will culminate in the second death after the thousand years experience ( Rev 20,21 )

The Character of God message as expressed and base on the love of God Principle found in( Jn 3:16-17, Jn 3:18-19, Rom 5:8) (1Jn 3:1, Jer 31:3, 1Jn 4:9-10)

That ALL who accepts Jesus and live faithfully in Him will received immortality as their final reward at the second Advent of Jesus (1 Cor. 15:51 -54,1thess 4:15-18).

Apart from its open leadership concept, New Jerusalem firmly believes in the social gospel and the brotherhood of all men and women through creation of God. Through His gift the Holy Ghost educates us to respects the wholeness of man through the development of the social, spiritual, intellectual /mental and creative expression of faith in God through Jesus Christ.

NJAM believes in the Protestant principles of bible truths as well as the freedom of conscience of faith and in the separation of Church and State.
